Ultraviolette Goes Global: Becomes first Indian EV bike maker to launch in 10 European nations

In a big move for India’s electric vehicle (EV) industry, Ultraviolette Automotive has become the first Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer to launch in 10 European countries, marking its global retail debut at an event held under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The Bengaluru-based startup has introduced its flagship electric performance motorcycles — the F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet — across Germany, France, the UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This expansion follows a successful debut in Germany and positions Ultraviolette as a serious global contender in the high-performance EV bike market.

“The launch of the F77 in Germany, France, the UK, and other European countries is a defining moment for Ultraviolette and a landmark achievement for India’s automobile landscape,” said Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder of Ultraviolette. “This is a moment of global recognition for the talent and capability within India’s engineering and manufacturing ecosystem.”

Backed by a strong investor base and years of in-house R&D, Ultraviolette’s F77 motorcycles are designed to compete with global premium electric bikes in both performance and technology. The F77 MACH 2 offers a race-ready posture with a sharper, sportier design, while the SuperStreet promises an upright ride suited for longer journeys and urban comfort.

Both models come equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery, peak power output of 30 kW, and a massive 100 Nm of torque, enabling the F77 to accelerate from 0–60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 km/h. Advanced features include:

  • Violette A.I. – Ultraviolette’s proprietary artificial intelligence system
  • Dual-channel ABS developed by Bosch
  • 10 levels of regenerative braking
  • 4 traction control settings
  • Dynamic stability control for enhanced ride safety

“This isn’t just the introduction of motorcycles into new markets — it’s the global unveiling of years of relentless research, engineering, and innovation, born in India,” said Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and co-founder. “The F77 is the result of deep in-house R&D, rigorous testing, and an unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance, innovation, safety, and design.”

As part of its European launch offer, Ultraviolette announced special pre-booking prices valid until July 31, 2025:

  • F77 MACH 2: Starting at €8,990 (regular: €9,990)
  • F77 SuperStreet: Starting at €9,290 (regular: €10,390)
