Aerocity is located between Delhi and Gurugram, near the airport, embassies, and corporate offices. This location allows Tesla to reach high-net-worth individuals, frequent travellers, and corporate fleet customers.
The Delhi showroom includes four V4 Superchargers in the basement parking. Each charger provides 250 kW DC charging at ₹24 per kWh. This can add about 238 km of range in 15 minutes for the Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and 267 km for the Long Range RWD.

The chargers will first be available only to Tesla owners, with plans for public use later. This is Tesla’s second operational Supercharger site in India, after the one at Mumbai’s One BKC building. The company plans to set up eight such locations in the next 12 months in cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur.
Tesla sells the Model Y in India in two versions. The RWD variant has a 60 kWh battery, a 500 km range (WLTP), and a price of ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Long Range RWD variant has a larger battery, a 622 km range, and costs ₹67.89 lakh.
Both versions can reach 0–100 kmph in under six seconds and have a top speed of 201 kmph. A self-driving package is available for ₹6 lakh, subject to regulatory approval.

At the Delhi Experience Centre, visitors can view the Model Y, book test drives, and see demonstrations of Autopilot and infotainment systems. There is also an accessories and merchandise section.
Customers can book the Model Y online, with deliveries expected in the coming months. Deliveries will be prioritised for buyers in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurugram, with cars transported directly to their homes on flat-bed trucks.
Tesla’s direct-to-consumer sales model and its own charging network distinguish it from competitors such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and BYD. However, expanding service and support remains a challenge. The company is expected to launch the Model 3 in India next.
The Model S and Model X are also considered but may not be launched due to size and regulatory requirements. Tesla entered the Indian market in July 2025 after the government reduced import tariffs on electric vehicles priced above $40,000 from 100% to 70%.
