Street Bob Relaunch: Harley-Davidson has relaunched the Street Bob in India. The 2025 model is priced at ₹18.77 lakh, ex-showroom. The Street Bob was discontinued in 2022 and now returns to replace the Fat Bob in the Indian line-up. With this update, Harley expands its premium cruiser portfolio, reintroducing the Street Bob as the most accessible model in its current Softail range.

Engine and Output: The 2025 Street Bob is powered by a 1,923cc, V-Twin engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motor produces 91 hp at 5,020 rpm and 156 Nm of torque at 2,750 rpm. It uses an air and oil-cooling system. Despite the large displacement, the motorcycle is the lightest Harley-Davidson equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine.

Styling Details: The new Street Bob continues with its bobber-style design. It features a low stance, single-seat layout, mini ape-hanger handlebars, and mid-mounted foot controls. The model now comes with a chrome-finished two-into-one longtail exhaust, replacing the earlier blacked-out dual-pipe setup. Bobbed rear fenders and a stretched-diamond black-and-chrome medallion are also part of the design, available across all colour choices.

Colour Choices: The 2025 Street Bob is offered in five colours. Billiard Grey is the standard option with no extra cost. Vivid Black costs ₹10,000 more, while Centerline Yellow adds ₹14,000. Iron Horse Metallic in dark green and Purple Abyss Denim in matte finish are priced at ₹16,000 extra each. Buyers can also opt for cross-spoked tubeless wheels at an additional ₹87,000.

Suspension and Braking: The motorcycle is built on a tubular cradle frame. It uses a 49mm telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by single discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard. The bike weighs 293 kg with a full tank and has a ground clearance of 125 mm, supporting stability and handling.

Instrumentation and Lighting: The Street Bob features a four-inch semi-digital display mounted on the handlebars, offering better legibility than the older small LCD unit. A USB Type-C charging port is included for convenience. The motorcycle uses all-LED lighting for headlamp, indicators, and tail-lamp functions. These updates improve the functionality of the Street Bob while maintaining its traditional design language.

Electronic Safety Package: The Street Bob includes rider safety systems such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, drag-torque slip control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Cruise control is also standard. The motorcycle offers three selectable ride modes – Road, Rain, and Sport. All safety aids work with an inertial measurement unit for improved stability and control under different riding conditions.

Wheels and Tyres: The motorcycle runs on 19-inch front and 16-inch rear cast alloy wheels as standard. The tyre setup includes a 100-section front and 150-section rear combination. Harley-Davidson also provides optional cross-spoked tubeless wheels, which can be purchased separately. These wheel options allow customers to either retain the standard setup or customise their motorcycle’s look and performance.

Fuel Tank and Ergonomics: The bike comes with a 13.2-litre fuel tank. Seat height is set at 680 mm, making it accessible for riders of varying heights. Despite weighing 293 kg with fuel, the motorcycle is the lightest model to feature Harley’s 117 engine. The setup, combined with its low stance and torque-focused motor, is designed for long-distance comfort and everyday usability.

Price and Position: The Harley-Davidson Street Bob is priced at ₹18.77 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is the most affordable model in the company’s Softail range, with the next option priced well above Rs 20 lakh. With updated features, new colour options, and a bigger engine, the Street Bob targets riders looking for a large-capacity Harley at a relatively lower price point in India’s cruiser segment.
