Tata Harrier.ev to launch in India on June 3: Key specs, features, price

Tata Motors will launch the Tata Harrier.ev, an all-electric SUV, on June 3. First displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Harrier.ev is built on the acti.ev+ architecture, derived from the Land Rover D8-based OMEGA platform in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover.

The new electric SUV is expected to feature a dual-motor setup with quad-wheel drive, delivering 500 Nm of peak torque and a real-world driving range of about 500 km on a single charge. The SUV will also be available in a single-motor variant, though specific battery details have not yet been disclosed.

The Harrier.ev’s design closely resembles its internal combustion engine counterpart but includes EV-specific elements like a full-width LED daytime running light strip, a redesigned grille, a revised front bumper with vertical slats, and aero-style turbine blade alloy wheels.

It also features connected LED taillamps, EV badging on both front doors, and dual-tone colour options. The interior mirrors the ICE Harrier, with a floating touchscreen, four-spoke steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, and the Arcade.ev interface supporting apps, connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Confirmed features include ventilated power-adjustable seats, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a panoramic sunroof, a JBL surround sound system, Level 2 ADAS, cloud-connected telematics, over-the-air updates, and vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load charging capabilities.

The Harrier.ev is expected to be priced between 20 lakh and 30 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with models like the Mahindra XEV 9e. The Harrier.ev joins Tata’s EV lineup, including the Tiago.ev, Tigor.ev, Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, and Curvv.ev, with the Sierra.ev also upcoming.
